The goal of this strategy is to gradually transform existing product, consulting, and solution expertise into a circular economy based system by 2035. The most important component to achieve this goal is the digital hose AMPIUS ®： Only by digitizing all products (digital products) and their lifecycle can we achieve a circular economy for hoses and connecting systems. Seeking professional knowledge support from Braungart EPEA: Masterflex Group has been collaborating with Braungart EPEA Research Institute since 2023. Their expertise in material analysis, product redesign, and new business model development supports us. Braungart EPEA has long been an innovative partner for institutions and companies to design environmentally friendly and recyclable products. Professor Michael Braungart is considered the founder of the "cradle to cradle" concept, advocating that industrial products and production processes should achieve "zero waste", with materials either biodegradable or infinitely recyclable in the industrial cycle.

Collaboration with REMONDIS Recycling GmbH:

The collaboration between Dr. Andreas Bastin, CEO of Masterflex Group, and Remondis aims to lay the foundation for high-performance plastics to enter the circular economy. Masterflex SE and REMONDIS Recycling GmbH&Co KG have signed a long-term cooperation agreement with the aim of establishing a circular economy for industrial products made from engineering plastics and serving as a model for the hose and connection system market.
